Success Stories of Individuals & Families Benefitting From The Love Foundation 

Love Foundation is a local registered foundation in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. It was formed in 2016 by a long-time MSM activist and aims to improve access to testing and treatment for MSM in Thailand through a combination of community mobilization, direct service provision, and advocacy to both government and private organizations. It currently has staff members with expertise in HIV prevention education (including PrEP), community mobilization, and social media.

The Love Foundation Campaigns for sexual health awareness, HIV prevention, and social mobilization within the MSM community. We are an organization that tries to make a difference through social media outreach, and to use the power of online social networks to provide as many people as possible with accurate information, advice and counseling on HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).

The Speak Out campaign of 2019 allowed Love Foundation to expand its reach and impact in Thailand and foster stronger relationships with gay, bisexual, and MSM and also NGOs and health providers who are serving this community. 

At the Love Foundation, we believe that honest open communication is vital to create wider awareness about HIV and other STIs. Awareness leads to the breaking down of community stigmas of sexually related diseases. Enduring stigmas on STIs act as social barriers to effective prevention and treatment and results in discrimination and exclusion of key populations. The understanding that sexual health rights are human rights and requires an empowered inclusive community to promote them, is central to Love Foundation’s philosophy.
